I noticed this website address on the back of a truck in Johnson City, TN today, June 28, 2011. I have a pup I adopted from the JC Animal Shelter in February, 2010. Everyone at the shelter called him a Jack Russell. But he is no Jack Russell. His legs are far more slender and long and the way he can use his front legs and paws to wrap around things is amazing. His chest is not as barrel chested as most Jacks I have known. He has keen interest in squirrels and birds and goes crazy inside the house watching them outside. A man in Petsmart told me I had a nice "Mountain Feist". He is small - about 12 inches tall and only 11 lbs. He looks much like your dogs (only skinnier). How can I tell if he is a Treeing Feist or a Mountain Feist (or are they the same thing).
I looked at some photos and you have some nice looking dogs. I am wanting to get into hunting with dogs and looking for a young female feist that is already treeing well. Contact me if you know where i can locate me a good young female. Thanks,Shawn
Great looking dogs! I'm impressed, but most of all thank you for sharing your faith and giving Our GOD the GLORY!!!
Just over the ridge from ya, in Bryson City, N.C. hope to see pups soon
Chase,

Looking foward to getting into the woods this year and will be interested in a pup or to come spring 2011. Please e-mail when you all will have some pups on the way. I really like the looks of what i have saw out of your stock.
i am a 12 year ole boy and i am wanting to start in on squirrle hunting ever since i was deer hnting and seen a black squirrle i was wondering much your are wanting for your dogs and if i sould get a female or male thanks
Thank you for all the great info on this site. Very nice job keeping it fresh and new. Great looking dogs! Any pups planned for the future? I am very interested in getting one.
Thanks for hosting such a neat site. I read your intro and it brings back a lot of memories for me also. I retired from the Air Force and traveled around and now live in Northern VA. Now that I'm settled down again I look forward to getting a dog soon and squirrel hunting again like I did with my dad growing up in ARK. Thanks
You made some good points there. I did a search on the topic and almost not got any specific details on other sites, but then happy to be here, seriously, thanks.
Yes i live in Walland, I am very interested in one of your pups. I have had several mountain cur dogs and several feists. I'm not a hunter. Don't want to make you mad or anything but I'm not gonna hunt it. I have found they are the best dogs for a pet I have ever had. Me and my wife had our first child 3 weeks ago today and I want her to grow up with a great dog, so if you have an female thats not a hunter and you would part with that would be great. Or if you have any friends that have a cull pup. Thanks a lot..
Great web site Chase. Hope all is going well. I know you are excited about Pearl's upcoming litter......should be some good pups judging by
their background. I really like the looks of that Pearl....would like to see her for myself one day. Take care....Jeff

I have been looking for a nice pup to take my 4yr old son squirrel hunting with, and I would prefer a site hunting dog. I like the way pearl hunt's in the video on your site. If you have a litter planned or know where I might find a nice pup please let me know. Thanks, Freddie 865-679-7230
chase i bought one of bear&pearls pups called her abby.she will be 1 end of month.we are heading your way sunday&monday.maybe i can catch up with you there. PINEY MTN.FIEST.
My bad Chase, I was looking at two kennels that day a you are right I got mixed up on what I thought I had read, please forgive my mistake. I do want to say again you do have a nice web page and good looking dogs too.
Catch you later Ken Banks
Nice page, nice looking dogs. I like your discription of a started dog,and I think you have it right. Alot of men will advertize a young dog as being started and some are closer to two years old than one year old. Dont know how to load or lead, let alone the thought of treeing a squirrel. If I were looking for a young you would be the man that I would call because of your definition of a started dog.
